A Personalized Approach to Anxiety

At Neuroshift, we don’t just manage symptoms, we uncover what’s really driving your anxiety.

Using a Functional Mental Health approach, we investigate the hidden causes: gut health, hormones, nutrient levels, and even your genes to deliver tailored solutions that restore calm, clarity, and long-term well-being.

What is Functional Mental Health

Functional Mental Health is a patient-centered, systems-based approach that addresses the root causes of health issues by integrating genetics, lifestyle, and environmental factors.

When applied to anxiety, this might include:

  • Optimizing nutrition

  • Improving sleep

  • Supporting detox pathways

  • Designing treatments based on your genetic blueprint

All with the goal of rebalancing your mind and body for lasting emotional wellness.

We’ve Been Looking at Anxiety All Wrong Without Addressing The Root Causes

Conventional treatments often suppress anxiety without exploring what’s behind it. Functional Mental Health reveals how gut
health, hormonal imbalances, nutrient deficiencies, and genetic factors contribute to mental distress.

A disrupted gut-brain axis impacts mood-regulating neurotransmitters.

Imbalances like high cortisol or thyroid dysfunction worsen anxiety.

Deficiencies in magnesium or B vitamins affect your stress response.

Genetic variations like MTHFR mutations alter brain chemistry and detoxification.

By identifying these root issues and applying personalized lifestyle, dietary, and supplement strategies, we help you can achieve lasting emotional balance.

Stress, Anxiety, the HPA axis and Polypeptides

The presentation explores the interconnected issues of anxiety, stress, trauma, and cortisol, focusing on the role of the HPA axis (hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal) in the body's stress response. It explains how chronic stress and trauma can disrupt this system, leading to persistent anxiety and physical brain damage. The discussion highlights the importance of fibroblast growth factor 2 (FGF2) in repairing the brain and body, promoting neurogenesis, reducing inflammation, and enhancing mental resilience. The script also introduces bioenergetic entrainment using the cell energy wellness plate, which combines terahertz waves, infrared light, and electrostimulation to synchronize the brain and body. Together, these approaches offer a comprehensive, long-term solution for restoring balance and mitigating stress and anxiety.
